Day Treatment

Holy Cross Children's Services offers two different Day Treatment options for providing services to youth who do not require out-of-home placement.

Corcoran House Day Treatment
The Corcoran House Day Treatment program is a 6 to 12 month, community-based intensive day treatment and family intervention program designed to prevent out-of-home placement of delinquent and/or neglected and abused adolescents. The program is designed to serve male and female residents of Genesee County who are between the age of 12 and 17 and are referred to the program by Genesee County DHS and Family Court.

This Day Treatment program serves approximately 25 to 30 youth per year and consists of intense family work, group work, ancillary services, education and tracking. The educational component is provided by the Mount Morris School System. Each student receives individualized instruction customized to their needs. Program staff provide transportation to youth and families for all program activities. Additionally, Day Treatment offers respite care for families in need. Program staff are availble 24/7 to attend to the needs of youth and families.

Each of these components is an integral part of the overal treatment process, which is designed to maintain the child within his/her home and to provide support and services to the family.
